Every year, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) conducts its International Roadcheck—an intensive 72-hour inspection blitz across North America. This year, from May 13–15th, the spotlight is on something we know better than most: tires.

77 Years Strong: Celebrating with Service & Smiles

In April 2025, Shrader Tire & Oil proudly celebrated 77 years of keeping the transportation industry rolling and safe. To mark the milestone, we took a week to reflect on where we’ve been—and who’s helped us get here.

We kicked off the celebration by thanking the incredible people who keep STO moving forward every day. Team members at all 14 locations were treated to a morning surprise—bagels, coffee, and a whole lot of appreciation. From Monroe to Ypsilanti to Fort Wayne, it was a chance to pause, connect, and celebrate our STO family.

Then, on April 17, we stepped outside our walls to give back to the community that’s supported us since 1948. Volunteers from across the company spent the day at Sunshine Communities in Maumee, Ohio. We shared a Friendship Visit with residents, helped with spring landscaping, and even built handcrafted privacy screens to enhance comfort and dignity throughout the facility.
