Shrader Tire & Oil Hosts Industry Tour at Melvindale MRT Facility

Shrader Tire & Oil recently had the honor of hosting an exclusive tour of our MRT 1 Retread Facility as part of the RIC-RIT World Remanufacturing Conference, the premier event for remanufacturing professionals from around the globe. The conference brings together industry leaders to share innovations, strategies, and best practices that are shaping the future of remanufacturing—and we were proud to show our facility as part of that conversation.

The tour was led by Bob Feldbauer, COO, Bob Watters from our Leadership Team, Jeff Szwed, MRT Plant Manager, and John Taylor, MRT 1 Manager. Attendees had the opportunity to see firsthand how Shrader Tire & Oil implements Michelin Retread Technology (MRT), combining precision, quality, and safety in every step of the process.

Guests toured our production lines, observed the retreading process in action, and learned about the measures we take to ensure consistent quality and reliability in every tire we produce.
